Worldwide Business Research (WBR), the folks behind Future Branches events and other quality industry content, recently completed their Banking from Anywhere survey, to gain a better understanding of consumer perspectives on mobile, remote, and in-person banking.

The WBR Insights research team surveyed 575 consumers across the U.S. to generate the results featured in this report. It's not surprising that 47% of consumers surveyed say the pandemic changed the way they prefer to do their banking.

A few key insights from this report:

- 40% will do more online banking and less in-person banking.

- 60% say they are at least somewhat interested in using a virtual branch.

- 61% say their institutions are “fine” in terms of innovation, while only 23% say their institutions are “exceptional".
